Before and After of our process. We hope you take a moment to email any questions. Thanks!
The customer neither had a trailer, nor a slip with docks. It was in a lagoon, so moving it around wasn't an option. This was the old cover: patched, torn, sun rotted, mildewed, and shrunk.
I was able to template the old cover, making a new pontoon top with no snaps misplaced (a very hard task when it's shrunk. Vents were added to prevent mildew, and a heavier canvas was used (Topgun9). Factory canvas is typically a 6 oz fabric, a third lighter than Topgun9.
Original pontoon snap cover was shipped to us. The top had stretched and shrunk so much the snaps didn't reach the studs.
"I received the new cover today. It fits perfectly!! Not a single snap out of place!! Please feel free to use before and after pictures for your advertising. I'll send separate emails with pictures. 😁😁😁"

Afterwards, the cover was improved during the duplication process.
The tent poles locations updated with vents. Pontoons need to let moisture out to prevent mildew.
Covers shrink and stretch over time. It's an art and craft to figure out how to pattern such covers.
Here, the original cover didn't reach.
After duplicating the original, we we're able to add material. It's better to compensate to the bigger side, because you can raise the tent poles to take out some slack.
